The spirit of Osu returns to the shores of Cox’s Bazar this July as WKO Shinkyokushinkai Bangladesh proudly announces its upcoming Summer Camp 2025, to be held from July 11 to 13 at Maui Resort, Himchari.

Led by Shihan Abdullah Mohammad Hossain, 5th Dan Black Belt, Country Representative and Branch Chief of WKO Bangladesh, this annual camp is one of the most anticipated events in the Kyokushin calendar. With a strong emphasis on traditional training, discipline, and spiritual development, the Summer Camp reflects the true essence of Kyokushin karate.

This year, around 40 dedicated members from dojos across Bangladesh are preparing to take part in the intensive 3-day camp. The team will depart Dhaka on the night of July 10 and return on the morning of July 14, marking four days of camaraderie, challenge, and focused training.

From early morning sessions on the beach to partner drills, kumite, and deep kihon practice under the open sky, each day of the camp will push participants beyond their physical and mental limits. Beyond the training, the camp is also about living the Kyokushin way — humility, perseverance, and mutual respect.

WKO Bangladesh Summer Camps have long been a rite of passage for many practitioners — a place where limits are tested, values are reinforced, and the spirit of Osu is embraced fully.

We look forward to welcoming our members to this year’s camp and witnessing once again the strength, unity, and discipline that define our Kyokushin community.

Osu!
